Property Manager

About This Role

The Property Manager keeps facilities, equipment, and building systems safe, reliable, and ready for daily operations. This role suits a practical leader with industrial maintenance experience and a strong commitment to safety, leading facilities maintenance teams and coordinating repairs and projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance operations, team assignments, and facilities maintenance projects; supervise and support team members
• Coordinate maintenance, repair, and preventive work for HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and other mechanical systems
• Troubleshoot equipment and facility issues using schematics, mechanical knowledge, and engineering troubleshooting methods; work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) where applicable
• Use a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) and Microsoft Office to track work orders, maintenance records, and project progress
• Follow Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements and applicable safety regulations; use a voltmeter or ohmmeter when appropriate and authorized

Requirements

• Experience in facilities management, facilities maintenance management, maintenance management, or industrial maintenance, including HVAC system repair and mechanical systems repair
• Supervising experience, leadership, team management, and experience managing facilities maintenance teams
• Electrical experience, including familiarity with high- and low-voltage systems
• Ability to communicate in English and organize maintenance work
• Familiarity with HVAC, programmable logic controllers, schematics, and plumbing system maintenance and repair is valued

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of maintenance repair procedures and manufacturing environments
• Project management experience
