Property Manager

About This Role

Managing all phases of an apartment community's operations, including general administration and maintenance, is the core of this role. The Property Manager directs and controls personnel and resources to ensure the community is well-maintained and fiscally stable according to company standards and owner directives. This position holds complete responsibility for the property's profit and loss.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate employees
• Conduct performance reviews, set goals, and manage schedules
• Ensure adherence to company policies, fair housing laws, rent collection, leasing, and property maintenance
• Manage property budget, expenses, and payroll
• Monitor collections and approve financial reports
• Work with the Marketing Department to maximize occupancy through advertising, outreach, and social media management
• Address resident concerns and oversee move-ins/move-outs
• Maintain high customer satisfaction
• Conduct regular property inspections and safety meetings to ensure compliance with company and owner standards
• Prepare reports on budgets, occupancy, market trends, and operational performance
• Perform work of subordinates as needed

Important Details

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, with availability for on-call emergencies
• Reporting to the Regional Property Manager
