Property Manager

About This Role

Managing the day-to-day operations of assigned properties is the core of this role, ensuring efficient performance and that established goals are met or exceeded. The Property Manager is responsible for the overall success of the property or properties under their care.

Responsibilities

• Handle rent collections, documentation collections, and ensure accuracy for the assigned property or properties
• Accept and process prospective resident applications
• Conduct move-ins and outs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with designated programs and policy/procedure
• Ensure all Fair Housing rules and regulations are understood and followed
• Ensure that proper training, equipment, and materials are available for staff use as needed
• Conduct frequent and continual inspections of property
• Ensure that maintenance requests are completed in a reasonable time
• Communicate with leadership, housing authorities, and outside clients as needed
• Schedule and complete assigned projects
• Maintain the highest professional standards and customer service standards for yourself and the entire team
• Continuously analyze maintenance, administrative, and other expenses to maximize profits while reducing expenses
• Perform any other tasks as assigned by the employee’s supervisor/manager and/or in accordance with business needs

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• 2+ years of housing experience
• Any Affordable Housing Certification (CAHEC, etc.)
• Ability to be exposed to the elements
• Ability to lift, pull, push, bend (up to 50 pounds)
• Ability to walk across a multitude of surfaces
• Exposure to basic household chemicals with occasional need for PPE due to construction chemicals or higher-level chemicals being used

• Valid Driver’s License required
