About This Role
Managing the company's real estate portfolio is the core of this role, ensuring profitability, occupancy, financial control, and commercial growth. This is achieved through strategic management of properties, leases, and the operational team, overseeing a diverse set of properties including commercial plazas and independent units.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the comprehensive management of commercial properties
- Control operating expenses and ensure business profitability
- Follow up on maintenance, collections, and contractual compliance
- Guarantee occupancy and reduce deficits from vacant units
- Design and implement strategies to increase occupancy
- Drive the sale and rental of commercial spaces
- Create and supervise promotional pages or channels for commercialization
- Supervise the team responsible for client acquisition and service
- Negotiate directly with strategic clients
- Supervise collections and portfolio
- Analyze property performance reports
- Identify opportunities for improvement in revenue and cost reduction
- Present executive performance reports
- Supervise assigned personnel
- Coordinate commercial and operational teams
- Ensure service standards and compliance
- Coordinate with accounting (internal accountants are available)
Requirements
- Proven experience in property or real estate management
- Experience in real estate sales and commercialization
- Experience managing multiple units or projects simultaneously
- Demonstrated ability to grow a business (increase sales, occupancy, or profitability)
- Experience leading teams
- Basic financial knowledge (reading statements, profitability analysis)
- Own vehicle and availability to travel between Panama and Colón
- University degree
- 3-4 years of experience
