The Qualifications We Seek
- 3+ years of general accounting experience
- 2+ years of full-cycle accounting experience in property management, including association and/or apartment management
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, preferred
- Experience with property management software, such as AppFolio or Vantaca, preferred
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- High proficiency in PDF tools
Your Daily Tasks
- Oversee full-cycle property accounting, including month-end and year-end closing processes, for a portfolio of apartment and condominium/HOA properties.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reporting packages for assigned properties.
- Partner with Property Managers on capital planning, cash management, special assessments, loan processing, and annual budget preparation.
- Manage loan covenant compliance and serve as the primary contact for external accounting and audit firms.
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and perform bank reconciliations.
- Audit accounting records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Manage property management financial software and maintain accurate financial data.
- Deliver responsive, customer-focused support to internal teams and external clients.
