Key Responsibilities The Project Manager – Operations Support (Data Center) provides project coordination and high-level administrative support to data center operations and executive leadership. This role is responsible for managing operational projects, coordinating schedules, and ensuring seamless communication across teams. The position plays a critical role in maintaining organizational efficiency by balancing project oversight with executive support functions such as calendar management, meeting coordination, and reporting.

Project & Operations Support:

  • Coordinate and support operational projects within the data center environment, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met
  • Track project milestones, action items, and dependencies across cross-functional teams (Operations, Facilities, IT, Security)
  • Prepare project documentation, status reports, and executive summaries
  • Assist in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and service delivery
  • Monitor and report on KPIs, SLAs, and operational metrics

Executive & Administrative Support:

  • Manage complex calendars for senior leadership, including scheduling meetings, prioritizing conflicts, and coordinating across time zones
  • Organize and prepare materials for meetings, presentations, and executive briefings
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings, including logistics, agendas, and follow-ups
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation for leadership review
  • Serve as a point of contact between executives and internal/external stakeholders

Communication & Coordination:

  • Facilitate communication between technical teams and leadership to ensure alignment on priorities
  • Track and follow up on key action items from leadership meetings
  • Assist in planning and coordinating operational reviews, audits, and leadership meetings
  • Support vendor coordination, including scheduling, documentation, and communication.

Minimum Qualifications Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3–5+ years of experience in project coordination, operations support, or executive administration—preferably in a data center or technical environment

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong organizational and administrative skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience managing executive calendars and supporting senior leadership
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Familiarity with project tracking tools (Smartsheet, Asana, Jira, or similar)
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5 to 15 years of experience in project coordination, operations support, or executive administration.
