About the role
The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) has a potential need for a Project Manager I to provide support for our government customer.
Description of Responsibilities:
- Organize, coordinate and monitor completion of Public Health projects.
- Develop Public Health studies and/or project timelines and milestones, recommend responsibility alignment and monitor project progress with respect to cost, schedule, performance and risk.
- Prepare written reports for Public Health with respect to project status.
- Effectively manage Public Health projects using standardized project management skills and tools to order to plan and accomplish goals and assure the successful and timely completion of assigned projects.
- Communicate and collaborate with appropriate Public Health technical and support personnel as needed to solve problems and overcome project implementation challenges.
- Develop and prepare Public Health technical reports, business process documentation, oral reports, charts, tables and/or professional quality presentations, as required.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Required Degree/Education/Certification:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health or similar field.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Must have project management experience managing a Government manpower contract.
- Must have project management experience managing a technical manpower contract (preferably Public Health).
- Must have experience with Microsoft Office products.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Experience working in a DoD Government environment preferred.
Required Citizenship and Clearance:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen; for the purposes of this effort Visa and Green-card holders are not eligible.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain the Position of a Public Trust.
