Project Manager

About This Role

This Project Manager role involves overseeing restoration and rebuild projects from the initial estimate through to completion. It is a leadership position for someone who excels at managing work, solving challenges, and delivering impactful results, while also mentoring others and enhancing the client experience.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of every restoration project from kickoff to completion
• Scope losses, prepare detailed estimates, and manage budgets to ensure profitability and adherence to schedule
• Keep teams, subcontractors, and resources synchronized, driving progress while maintaining high safety and quality standards
• Engage directly with homeowners, adjusters, and insurers to build trust, communicate clearly, and align expectations
• Anticipate and solve potential issues quickly to keep work moving without delay
• Mentor junior project managers and supervisors to build their skills and ensure consistency across projects

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager I or equivalent experience in restoration or construction
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently from start to finish
• Strong knowledge of restoration and construction practices, safety regulations, and building codes
• Experience reading plans, developing scopes, and negotiating with clients and adjusters
• Skilled communicator with strong organization and time management abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, mobile applications, and Xactimate (Level 2 certification an asset)
• IICRC certifications: WRT and FSRT
• Valid driver's license and clean driving abstract
• Must be able to participate in a rotating on-call schedule
• Ability to complete work activities which may include physical labor, material handling and lifting, climbing ladders, wearing a respirator, and working in tight spaces (attics, basements, and crawlspaces)
