SoftwareOne is a global leader in cloud and software services. We’re hiring an Azure Architect to define and deliver Azure cloud architectures that enable modern, secure, and cost-effective solutions for our customers.
Key responsibilities:
- Design end-to-end Azure solution architectures across infrastructure, networking, security, identity, and application platforms
- Lead architecture assessments and define cloud adoption roadmaps , including migration strategies and landing zone design
- Establish governance and best practices for security, compliance, resiliency, performance, and cost optimization
- Collaborate with delivery teams to guide implementation, conduct architecture reviews, and ensure alignment with approved designs
- Support presales activities including solution workshops, proposal input, effort estimation, and customer presentations
- Contribute to reusable assets (reference architectures, templates, accelerators) and stay current on Azure innovations
Job Requirements

Demonstrated experience designing and delivering Azure architectures
for enterprise environments, including hybrid scenarios

Strong knowledge of Azure core services
: networking (VNet, VPN/ExpressRoute), compute, storage, backup/DR, and monitoring

Solid expertise in identity and security
, including Azure AD (Entra ID), RBAC, Key Vault, Defender for Cloud, and policy/governance

Experience with migration and modernization
approaches (IaaS/PaaS), including landing zones, workload onboarding, and operations readiness

Familiarity with automation and IaC such as Terraform, Bicep/ARM
, scripting (PowerShell), and DevOps practices (CI/CD)

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to explain architecture decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences
