Project Manager - Air Traffic Management

About This Role

This role is for a Project Manager to join the Airspace Mobility Solutions team, playing a key part in delivering projects that support innovative air traffic management solutions. The role involves working closely with customers and global teams to ensure successful project execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project delivery, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while meeting customer satisfaction and financial objectives
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, subcontractors, and global engineering teams to ensure successful project execution
• Build strong relationships with customers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and contractual compliance
• Monitor project performance, manage risks and mitigation plans, and ensure compliance with Thales Project Management governance
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and business growth
• Support bid and proposal activities by contributing to competitive, high-quality project plans aligned with Thales governance

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology or a related field
• 5 years of minimum experience as Project Manager or Bid Manager
• Strong knowledge of project management and systems engineering, with experience in project planning, risk, procurement and financial management
• Proven leadership, stakeholder management and cross-functional team coordination skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment
• Professional proficiency in English and availability to travel

Nice to have:

• IPMA or equivalent certification
