Project Manager

About This Role

Project management expertise is applied in a dynamic and innovative field, working alongside a collaborative, proactive, and results-oriented team of professionals. The Project Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the successful execution of projects with low criticality, ensuring that contractual requirements and customer expectations are met. This role suits someone who can define project strategies and ensure compliance with Alstom's project management processes, as well as lead and coordinate project activities from transfer to close-out phases.

Responsibilities

• Own the Project Management Work Package (WP) and be accountable for Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Planning (QCDP) performance
• Optimize project financial performance, with a focus on margin and cash
• Define project objectives and allocate resources to achieve customer satisfaction
• Lead and coordinate project teams, including internal and external stakeholders
• Ensure alignment with contractual requirements and manage variation orders
• Proactively manage risks, savings, and opportunities to drive project success
• Report project progress and KPIs to senior management with transparency
• Maintain compliance with Alstom's Code of Ethics, EHS, Railway Safety, and Quality standards

Requirements

• Master's degree with a qualification in Project Management
• 5 years of experience as a sub-system/component manager, qualified project manager, or manager of an operational scope
• Experience in managing multi-site and multi-functional teams
• Strong communication, leadership, and negotiation skills
• Good knowledge of project management processes and railway products/systems
• Ability to manage customer relationships and external stakeholders effectively
