About the role

PED-HEALTH SERVICES RESEARCH (IN-PHSR-IUINA)

The Department of Pediatrics employs nearly 1,000 faculty and staff who work alongside employees of Riley Hospital for Children and students of Indiana University (IU) School of Medicine (IUSM) to make Riley Children's Health Indiana's largest and most skilled pediatric system. Department-Specific Responsibilities

  • Oversees the delivery of the Early Autism Evaluation (EAE) Hub model
  • Maintains a database and map of participating clinicians and practices
  • Provides a technical support to EAE Hubs
  • Serves as a consultant on administrative activities with internal and external collaborators
  • Oversees collection of EAE Quality Improvement (QI) data
  • Facilitates and maintains Memorandum of Understandings (MOUs) with participants and IUSM legal team
  • Surveys statewide reach of project
  • Monitors, triages, and responds to project group email account
  • Updates website as necessary
  • Facilitates hub team learning collaboratives
  • Administrates EAE Hub monthly calls
  • Assists in planning and tracking hot topics for calls
  • Collaborates in planning and facilitating the annual meeting
  • Processes secondary referrals and denials
  • Updates Sharepoint
  • Facilitates training for new team members and/or new hubs
  • Facilitates and tracks progress of learners and teams through EAE standard training process
  • Manages iPads for training
  • Oversees new site launch and associated processes
  • Provides training to team members on data entry

General Responsibilities

  • Provides experienced assistance with project management activities, resource allocation, and communication
  • Develops a schedule designed to meet necessary deadlines and communicates with team members
  • Monitors project progress and handles highly complex issues that arise
  • Ensures projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project
  • Allocates tasks and assignments to lower-level appointed staff and monitors their performance
  • Performs a variety of administrative skills and prepares correspondence related to the project

  • High school diploma or equivalent (such as HSED or GED)

Required WORK EXPERIENCE

  • 4 years of relevant experience

This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.

Indianapolis, Indiana

$48,000.00 - $53,000.00 annually determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as required by the role, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
