Project Engineer / Project Manager

About This Role

Leading complex infrastructure and development projects from concept through completion is the core of this role within a growing multidisciplinary engineering consulting organization. This position offers an opportunity to manage client relationships, influence project outcomes, and contribute to impactful public and private sector initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering projects from inception through completion
• Oversee schedules, budgets, deliverables, and project teams
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, regulators, and internal stakeholders
• Lead technical reviews, permitting efforts, and project documentation
• Mentor engineers and support project staff development
• Maintain strong client relationships and identify business development opportunities
• Ensure project quality, profitability, and compliance with applicable standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• Experience managing engineering consulting projects
• Strong communication and client-facing skills
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary project teams
• Experience delivering projects on time and within budget
• Engineering project management experience
• Civil engineering, infrastructure, transportation, land development, municipal, or environmental project experience
• Budgeting, scheduling, and resource management
• Knowledge of permitting and regulatory requirements
• Leadership and team development capabilities

Nice to have:

• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or required depending on level
• AutoCAD Civil 3D and related engineering software experience preferred
