Project Director

Secondary Duties:

• Represent Sedron at industry conferences, client meetings, and community engagement events related to project operations
• Support business development activities, including contributing to proposals and cost estimates for new projects
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and lessons-learned documentation for future project benefit

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field required
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with a focus on industrial capital projects exceeding $50M
• Proven track record of successful project delivery
• Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project
• Experience with budgeting and scheduling tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences
• Deep understanding of engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) project delivery methodologies in industrial or environmental technology sectors
• Strong financial acumen with ability to develop, track, and control project budgets and forecasts
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and hold accountable large, diverse project teams across multiple functional disciplines
• Proficient in risk identification, assessment, and mitigation within complex, multi-phase capital programs
• Skilled in contract negotiation and management with contractors, vendors, and third-party service providers
• Knowledge of applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations governing industrial construction and operations
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced project environment
• Must be a US Citizen or legal permanent resident for this position

Important Details

• Travel: approximately 15% to support Sedron facilities and recruiting activities

• Ability to work in industrial and active construction environments, including outdoor field sites
• May be exposed to noise, heavy equipment, temperature variations, and other conditions typical of industrial project sites
