Project Coordinator - Major Project

About This Role

This project coordinator role supports Pomerleau's Major Projects team by managing schedules and activities for large-scale construction projects, which range from $250 million to over $1 billion. The role involves communicating with stakeholders, ensuring resource availability, and handling various administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support the project team with project coordination and administrative tasks
• Maintain open lines of communication with team members, business partners, consultants, and clients
• Review, interpret, and update construction schedules
• Maintain, review, and track shop drawings, requests for information, material purchase orders, change notice quotes, and project closeout documents
• Examine, collect, and analyze project quotes to find the best market prices
• Manage the collection and completion of company-wide project reports for assigned projects
• Apply project-specific safety standards and promote Pomerleau’s health and safety programs, applicable laws, regulations, and safety codes to all employees and business partners on site

Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of professional experience in the construction industry
• University degree or technical diploma in engineering, or a combination of education and industry experience
• Proven experience in project coordination and team collaboration
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
