About This Role
This project coordinator role focuses on planning, coordinating, and implementing a digital and financial empowerment program for senior citizens across the state. The position requires close engagement with various community groups and project teams to ensure effective program delivery, target achievement, and timely reporting.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee program implementation across designated districts and urban locations
- Develop and maintain a database of Senior Citizen Associations (SCAs), Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs), clubs, elder groups, and urban slum communities
- Ensure adherence to project timelines, guidelines, and quality standards
- Monitor program activities and provide regular updates to the State Program Manager, State Head, and Programme Lead
- Organize and facilitate monthly digital, financial, and legal literacy workshops for senior citizens
- Conduct awareness sessions on digital safety, cyber fraud prevention, online services, financial inclusion, and legal rights
- Train and mentor youth volunteers to support program implementation
- Build local resource networks to strengthen outreach and program impact
- Ensure achievement of monthly and quarterly program targets
- Collect, verify, and maintain program data for monitoring and evaluation
- Prepare and submit progress reports, MIS reports, success stories, photographs, videos, and case studies
- Track participant feedback and recommend improvements to enhance program effectiveness
- Build and maintain strong relationships with SCAs, RWAs, elder groups, banks, financial institutions, legal authorities, and community stakeholders
- Support stakeholder consultations, program reviews, and planning meetings
- Represent the program at local events, networking forums, and observances such as World Elder Abuse Awareness Day (WEAAD) and International Day of Older Persons (IDOP)
