About the Role
An international digital commerce organisation is seeking a Project Manager to lead end-to-end operational and process improvement projects.
The role combines project management, operational excellence and LEAN process improvement, working closely with local operations, cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver projects on time, within scope and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate project briefs into clear plans covering objectives, scope, milestones, budgets and risks.
- Manage projects from initiation through completion, including handovers and lessons learned.
- Track progress, quality and budget, identifying potential delays and recommending solutions.
- Lead continuous improvement and LEAN process optimisation initiatives.
- Coordinate operational stakeholders and provide clear information to support decision-making.
- Facilitate project meetings, working sessions and steering meetings.
- Manage day-to-day project activities while maintaining overall project oversight.
- Identify and escalate complex risks, scope changes and key trade-offs.
- Drive effective, practical solutions focused on timely delivery.
Requirements
- Proven experience independently managing medium-sized operational or process improvement projects.
- Strong understanding of LEAN, continuous improvement and operational change .
- Experience managing operational stakeholders in a matrix environment.
- Strong facilitation, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to turn complex information into clear recommendations and actions.
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project or Smartsheet .
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Dutch or French is advantageous.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Hands-on, pragmatic and delivery-focused approach.
- Ability to build strong relationships across local and central teams.
