Project Analyst

About This Role

This Project Analyst role focuses on tracking labor hours, costs, schedules, and burn rates, and preparing management reports for the LCAC 100 Program. The position involves reviewing costs, managing schedules, and developing solutions to project issues.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the tracking of labor hours, schedules, costs, and burn rates
• Review costs and modify accordingly
• Manage schedules and prepare status reports
• Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives
• Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients
• Develop budgets and schedules to meet contractual/project requirements for an assigned portion of a program
• Participate in establishing and defining program plan requirements
• Monitor and report performance against plans to ensure that contractual, cost and schedule objectives are met
• Support labor tracking and labor hour alignment
• Review and provide weekly budget analysis reports and resource allocation
• Support the Navy Program Manager by tracking government labor funding plans
• Provide task planning activities
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and mission focus across the team
• Perform other duties as related to the business functions of FWG Solutions, as assigned

Requirements

• High School Degree Required
• Bachelor's Degree Required (preferably in business, finance, accounting, analytics, logistics or related field)
• Active Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain an Interim Secret Clearance
• Five to seven (5-7) years of experience in a similar position
• Experience using DoD/Navy financial systems
• Knowledge of the substantive programs within the division and branches
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to monitor and evaluate schedule and financial activities
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize work assignments as required
• Knowledge of correspondence and writing procedures and practices
• Ability to communicate tactfully to ensure accomplishment of functions
• Ability to hold yourself and others accountable on short-term and long-term goals
• Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• High level problem-solving and communication skills
• Project management principles and practices
• Ability to work with various levels of personnel including senior leadership
