Project Analyst

About This Role

This Project Analyst role supports construction projects ranging from $3M to $80M at the Knolls Site, with occasional support for the Kesselring Site. The position is in project controls, where you will build and maintain integrated resource and financial schedules, track performance, analyze risk, and keep stakeholders informed through metrics and reports from project start through closeout.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated resource and financial schedules in Primavera
• Track plans, conduct risk analysis, resolve conflicts, and monitor progress using project management techniques
• Prepare performance metrics for management and customers
• Process and issue change controls
• Identify resource conflicts and analyze budgets and workforce estimates
• Develop portions of the Program Management Plan
• Support project meetings and submit reports
• Prepare project closeout reports

Requirements

• 5 or more years of relevant project controls, scheduling, or project financial experience
• Proficiency in scheduling software, preferably Primavera
• Experience managing financial information
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE "L" clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship

Nice to have:

• Coursework or experience in project management
• Experience analyzing performance to plan
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Proficiency in technical writing to author or support submittals
• Proficiency with business intelligence software (e.g., Power BI)

Important Details

• Contract: 3-year contract
• Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week; up to approximately 10% telework
• Estimated Hours: Approximately 2,080 straight-time hours per year
• Anticipated Start: As soon as possible
• Locations: Niskayuna, NY; occasional support at the Kesselring Site, West Milton, NY

This position requires a DOE "L" clearance.
