Role Overview: The registered nurse will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a specialized pulmonary progressive care unit. Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individual care plans in collaboration with an interprofessional team, including physicians, advanced practice nurses, social workers, and therapists. The nurse promotes safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while educating patients and families on managing illnesses and post-treatment care.
Key Duties: Develop and document personalized care plans, communicate effectively across care teams, and utilize critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs. The role involves ensuring patient safety, providing education, and supporting rehabilitation efforts.
