About the role

Job Duties And Responsibilities

  • Develop, update and assure completion of Master Schedules, e-Program Books, Feasibilities, Program Kick-off Books, Supplier Risk Assessments.
  • Resource monitoring using the Master Schedule task assignments.
  • Assist in the compilation of the overall program budget
  • Ensure the product is designed to meet Dana’s and the customer’s requirements and mass production manufacturability.
  • Responsible for the on-time, on-budget completion of all customer and Dana required deliverables for the program.
  • Assist and ensure the proper specification and procurement of capital equipment, tooling, gauging, and test equipment.
  • Assist in the development of APQP.
  • May assist in various job duties of the Product, Manufacturing, and Quality Engineering disciplines to support the team members in completion of critical path tasks.
  • Champion regular cross functional Product Launch Team (PLT) meetings to review the program Master Schedule and assign resources to address any open issues.
  • Complete Program Launch Status updates
  • Identify non-conformances and problems and aid in facilitating the resolution of these as needed using systemic root cause analysis (5Why, 8D, Ishikawa Diagram, etc.).

Education And Qualifications The preference would be that the successful candidate has the following qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Engineering, Business, or technical field.
  • Minimum 2 years experience performing program coordination or program management within the automotive industry.
  • PMI certification considered as plus.

Skills

  • Excellent knowledge of APQP and program management techniques.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Solid multi-disciplined background.
  • Ability to coordinate activities inter-company and with multiple departments such as Engineering, Operations, Accounting, Sales, etc.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in the use of Office 365 Suite (i.e., MS Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Proficient in the understanding of Engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications
  • A solid understanding of financial analysis concepts and budget management.
  • Able to operate successfully at Senior Management level (communication, presentations, etc.).
  • Excellent organizational leadership, follow-up, and time management skills;
  • Focused on exceeding expectations and comfortable with working independently.
  • A passion to take ownership and deliver as both leader and member in a winning and supportive team.
