The University of Kansas Cancer Center is hiring a Program Coordinator to support our Education, Human Resources, and Administration teams. If you're highly organized, enjoy coordinating events, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you!
Location: 100% onsite at our Main Campus, 3901 Rainbow Blvd., Kansas City, KS
Schedule: Part-time (20–24 hours/week)
In This Role, You'll
- Coordinate weekly educational seminars, including travel, meeting schedules, catering, event promotion, and expense reporting
- Help plan the annual education seminar calendar and maintain CEU records using the EEDS platform
- Schedule meetings for Cancer Center education leadership
- Organize employee appreciation events, Grand Rounds, Grant Rounds, poster forums, and other special events
- Create a monthly publication
- Process invoices, manage budgets, and track event and grant expenses
We're Looking For Someone With
- Four years of related experience (education may substitute on a year-for-year basis)
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Graphic design experience or knowledge
- Excellent communication, organization, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities
- Healthcare or oncology experience is a plus
