Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Program Coordinator 1 (Marketing, Game Presentation & Fan Experience) for Athletics – Marketing.
Among the key duties of the position are the following: Oversees, coordinates, and manages all marketing, fan experience, digital and traditional advertising, and promotional efforts for Rutgers Athletics for assigned sports. Leads projects for Rutgers Football gamedays including initiatives inside the stadium and along the Rutgers Boardwalk. Oversees the planning and execution of the email marketing calendar, supports Rutgers Athletics’ social media efforts, and manages Sir Henry’s Kid’s Club.
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Two (2) years of experience in marketing, ticketing or database management in intercollegiate athletics.
- High level of written and oral communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
- Ability to make decisions independently.
- Computer literacy.
- Experience deploying email campaigns and a firm understanding of the system utilized.
