Effective July 1, 2025, the State of California implemented the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) which reduces an employee’s monthly salary in exchange for leave credits. Employees appointed to this classification will have their monthly salary reduced and will accrue hours of PLP 2025 on the first day of each pay period in accordance with the applicable bargaining contract. The salary range(s) included on this job posting do not reflect the reduction in pay.
The Department of State Hospitals - Napa, Program 2 is accepting applications for a Full-Time, Permanent Program Assistant position. The Program Assistant assists in assuring that all program operations, procedures and staff practices follow and comply with hospital policies and procedures. Develops, evaluates, and implements standards and procedures for ensuring that the clinical services provided for patients conform to applicable federal and state laws, rules and regulations, state licensing, Joint Commission and Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services standards and guidelines and equal employment opportunity and patients' rights guidelines and laws.
