Duties
The purpose of this position is to serve as the analyst and consultant for the management and administration of programs within the directorate or division. Serves as key point for all program requirements. Reviews, evaluates and analyzes obligations and expenditures. Assists management in interpretation and utilization of reports and information provided. Provides recommendations to subordinate organizations for proper management of programs.
Physical Demands:
The work is primarily sedentary in nature.
Working Environment:
The work is performed in an office setting. Occasional travel is required.

GENERAL EXPERIENCE:
Experience, education or training in administrative, professional, investigative, technical or other responsible work wich demonstrates analytical ability and a practical and theoretical knowledge of the functions, processes and principles of management. Experience using computer and automation systems.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
Applicant must possess more than TWENTY FOUR (24) months of specialized experience performing or supervising duties such as identifying and analyzing deficiencies in resource, consumption, training, workload and schedules; providing recommendations to subordinate organizations for proper management of programs; reviewing prior and current budgets/funding trends, reviewing, evaluating and analyzing obligations and expenditures; recommending funding allocations and monitoring expenditures; researching and interpreting personnel and training regulations; developing, collecting and maintaining various historical data; developing and preparing year program spreadsheets.
Education
SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
Study successfully completed in a college university, technical or vocational school may be substituted at the rate of one academic year of study (30 semester's hours or 20 classroom hours of instruction per week) for 6 months of specialized experience. Courses must be directly related to the work of the position. Copy of student transcripts or training certificates must be included in order to receive credit for education. Unofficial transcripts from internet or with alterations will not be considered. To receive credit for education the information must be included in the education section of the Resume.
