At Home Instead, we believe exceptional care begins the moment someone contacts our office. We're seeking an energetic, professional, and compassionate individual to serve as both a Receptionist and Care Professional in our Jacksonville office.
This unique position combines providing outstanding customer service in our office with delivering compassionate care to seniors in their homes. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for helping others.
As the first person many families, clients, caregivers, and community members interact with, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and professional experience that reflects the values of Home Instead.
Receptionist Responsibilities
- Create a warm, welcoming, and professional first impression for everyone who visits or contacts the office
- Greet visitors with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Answer incoming phone calls in a friendly and courteous manner
- Represent Home Instead with a positive, can-do attitude
- Assist with scheduling and office coordination
- Support communication between clients, families, caregivers, and office staff
- Maintain organized records and documentation
- Assist with general administrative and office support tasks

Key Qualifications
- Strong customer service or receptionist experience preferred
- Previous caregiving experience is a plus, but not required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Comfortable using computers, email, mobile apps, and office technology
- Experience using Microsoft Office
- Valid driver's license and reliable insured vehicle
