Production Worker

About This Role

This production worker role involves operating and maintaining machinery to produce structural insulated panels. It suits a dependable, self-motivated team player with a good work ethic and attention to detail, who is willing to learn and develop within the company.

Responsibilities

• Start up, operate, and shut down equipment
• Actively monitor the production process and intervene when problems arise
• Follow the Quality Control Process and complete defined quality tests on parts and machines
• Perform basic troubleshooting on machinery, material, or process deficiencies
• Complete basic daily routine machine maintenance tasks to keep the machine in reliable condition
• Process material changes and set up order changes
• Document machine and process data

Requirements

• Willing to learn a process involving machinery and cross-train on multiple equipment

• Able to take measurements using a tape measure and caliper

• Basic math skills to take precise measurements and make basic calculations

• Able to communicate with co-workers and management in English

• ESL applicants are welcome to apply

• Ability to move roughly 50

• 75 pounds and remain on the assigned machine throughout the shift

• Willing to be on time for shift start and remain at work for the duration of the shift

• Understanding of health and safety regulations and follow company safety policy to reduce the risk of workplace accidents
