About the role
Working Pattern: 4-Day Work Week | 12-Hour Rotating Shifts
We are hiring Production Technicians for an established manufacturing company in Joo Koon. Candidates with Automation, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Equipment Maintenance or related technical backgrounds are welcome to apply.
Salary & Benefits
- Basic Salary: $2,000 – $3,000, depending on qualifications and experience
- Day Shift Allowance: $5/day
- Night Shift Allowance: $15/night
- Transport Allowance: $90/month
- Medical Allowance: $40/month
- AWS + Variable Bonus
- Permanent position
Working Hours
- Day Shift: 8:20am – 8:30pm
- Night Shift: 8:20pm – 8:30am
- 4-day, 12-hour shift arrangement
- Candidates must be comfortable rotating between day and night shifts on a monthly basis
Job Responsibilities
Depending on the department assigned, responsibilities may include:
- Support daily production operations, machine productivity, efficiency, quality and equipment utilisation
- Set up, start up and shut down production/moulding machines according to production schedules
- Perform machine set-up and ensure production parameters are correctly configured
- Monitor production machines and equipment to ensure proper operating conditions
- Troubleshoot machine, automation and robotic equipment issues
- Carry out equipment repairs and respond promptly to machine breakdowns
- Conduct routine checks, preventive maintenance and equipment verification
- Maintain production equipment, instruments, jigs and fixtures in good operating condition
- Assist Engineers with equipment maintenance, spare parts management and continuous improvement activities
- Support initiatives to reduce machine downtime and improve production efficiency
- Maintain relevant maintenance and equipment records
- Ensure compliance with production quality requirements and workplace EHS standards
- Perform other technical duties as assigned
Requirements
- NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automation, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related discipline preferred
- Candidates with experience in automation, machinery, equipment maintenance or manufacturing environments will have an advantage
- Able to perform basic machine troubleshooting and repair
- Comfortable working in an air-conditioned production or cleanroom environment
- For cleanroom operations, candidates must be comfortable wearing a full cleanroom jumpsuit
- Must be willing to rotate between day and night shifts monthly
- Candidates with relevant technical qualifications but limited experience are welcome to apply
