This position works out of our Sturgis, MI location in the Abbott Nutrition division. What You’ll Do

• Coordinating production team activities to deliver performance for the shift/line.
• Developing team members through training programs and timely coaching and feedback.
• Modeling and promoting behaviors to drive a culture of safety and quality compliance.
• Driving operational efficiencies and understanding performance based on key metrics.
• Promoting a continuous improvement culture using problem-solving skills.
• Managing expenses, including labor and overtime costs.
• Modeling and promoting accountability to our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.
• Ability to communicate with cross functional teams.
• Ability to lead tier meetings.
• Ability to provide daily production updates.
• Managing up to 30 direct reports.

You’ll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Business, Science, Food Science, Engineering or a related field OR High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 4 years of professional experience involving people leadership, operational execution, or quality/safety oversight in manufacturing, production, logistics, or a comparable structured environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a regulated manufacturing work environment.
• Experience utilizing project planning and execution tools.
• Knowledge of FDA – 21 CFR and other regulatory requirements for Infant Formula.

The base pay for this position is

$61,300.00 – $122,700.00

In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
