About This Role
Planning and monitoring daily factory activities is the core of this supervisory role, which involves overseeing workers and ensuring production targets are met on time while maintaining product quality and workplace discipline. The position suits a hardworking individual with experience in manufacturing supervision.
Responsibilities
- Plan and monitor daily production activities to ensure timely completion of targets
- Assign duties to workers, monitor attendance and ensure proper utilisation of manpower
- Check product quality at different stages of production and report any defects or issues
- Ensure machines are operating properly and report breakdowns or maintenance requirements
- Monitor raw material usage, minimise wastage and inform management about stock requirements
- Maintain daily records of production quantity, worker attendance, material usage and wastage
- Ensure workers follow reporting timings, safety instructions and company policies
- Coordinate with the stores, quality, dispatch and management teams to ensure smooth operations
- Identify production delays or operational issues and take timely corrective action
- Submit daily production reports and communicate pending work or major issues to management
Requirements
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in factory production or manufacturing supervision
- Ability to manage workers and allocate daily tasks effectively
- Basic knowledge of production planning, quality checks and material management
- Ability to maintain records and prepare simple daily reports
- Good communication, problem-solving and leadership skills
- Must be willing to work full-time at the Janla plant
Nice to have:
- FMCG, agarbatti or incense manufacturing experience
