About the role
Principal Responsibilities:
- Process Optimization with data analysis and identify areas for process improvement in efficiency, yield and quality.
- Drive the implementation of process improvements and modifications to enhance performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to process performance, quality and safety.
- Oversee the design and develop chemical processes, equipment and systems for manufacturing and production efficiency.
- Lead implementation project to eliminate shopfloor non-value-added activities by using Lean tools to streamline process such as 5S, 8 Muda, VSM and Standard Work.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, warehouse and EHS to ensure production capacity expansion project success.
- Ensure that chemical processes adhere to EHS regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the production manager.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, shopfloor engagement/ hand-on and process improvement with an environment of Lean or Six Sigma.
Physical Demands & Working Conditions:
- Good English communication capability to effectively present and join global meetings.
- Any Lean and Six Sigma equivalent certification is a plus.
