Production Operator, Compounding
Burlington, WI | All Shifts Available $20.00/hour | Full-Time (possible shift premium available) Our client is looking for Compounding Production Operators to join their Burlington, WI manufacturing team. This hands-on role is responsible for safely and efficiently producing and packaging chemical products while maintaining high standards for quality, safety, and cleanliness.
What You’ll Do
- Set up, operate, and monitor production and packaging equipment.
- Measure, weigh, mix, and process chemical ingredients according to established procedures.
- Monitor batches for quality and food safety parameters.
- Record production, sanitation, and testing data accurately.
- Draw product samples for quality testing.
- Fill containers with finished chemical products.
- Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and work areas.
- Report food safety, physical safety, and product quality concerns.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment.
- Safely operate production equipment including forklifts, agitators, homogenizers, and drum tippers.
What We’re Looking For
- High school-level proficiency in reading and mathematics.
- Two or more years of chemical or food processing experience preferred.
- Forklift certification preferred.
- GMP and HACCP training is a plus.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Ability to work effectively with colleagues across departments.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to repetitively lift up to 60 pounds.
- Ability to stand, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
- Ability to wear required PPE for extended periods.
- Ability to safely operate production machinery.
