Other duties may be assigned. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | 1. | Demonstrates ability to meet qualification requirements and maintains minimum | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | standard of performance for the job level. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | 2. | Operates all assigned extrusion equipment. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | 3. | Works under the close direction of the supervisor. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | 4. | Bell and unitize pipe products. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | 5. | Operates forklift when required. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | 6. | Visibly inspect pipe for flaws. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | 7. | Operates banding equipment and other miscellaneous packaging equipment. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | 8. | Builds wooden frames when necessary. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | 9. | Sets up and operates extruders, pullers, vacuum tanks, pre-heaters, cut-off saws, | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | printers and bellers. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | 10. | Assists during changeovers. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | 11 | Maintains proper cut length and makes adjustmens with the assistance of the supervisor | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | 12. | Maintains constant oberservation of extrusion heats and all other machine conditions. Makes | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | necessary adjustments under the direction of the supervisor | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | 13. | Performs required QC inspections and tests | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | 14. | Performs all required inspections; wall thickness, outside diameter, ovaliaty, cut length, bell | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | length and records the results per J-M specifications | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | 15. | Records all required data on inspection and equipment condition | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | 16. | Verifies all in process Q.C. checks and test and evaluates results | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | 17. | Makes miscellaneous minor repairs to equipment | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | 18 | Relieves other positions for lunch and breaks | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | 19. | Be willing to learn new tasks and take on individual responsibilities. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | 20. | Keeps equipment and working area clean and orderly, including painting of assigned equipment | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | 20. | Uses safe working practicies and reports hazardous conditions at all times | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | 21. | Performs other miscellaneous jobs as directed | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | |
