Production Operator
Burlington, WI | 2nd or 3rd Shift $19.00/hour | Full-Time Our client, a leading chemical manufacturer, is seeking a Production O perator, Treated Silica to join their Burlington, WI manufacturing team. This is a hands-on production opportunity for someone who takes pride in safety, quality, and following established manufacturing processes.
What You’ll Do
- Set up, operate, and monitor equipment used to produce and package products.
- Monitor production batches for quality and applicable food safety parameters.
- Accurately record production and testing data.
- Draw product samples for quality testing.
- Fill containers with finished products.
- Clean equipment, utensils, and work areas according to established procedures.
- Promptly report food safety, physical safety, and product quality concerns.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
What We’re Looking For
- High school-level proficiency in reading and mathematics.
- Two or more years of chemical or food processing experience preferred.
- Forklift certification preferred.
- GMP and HACCP training is a plus.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to take initiative and work effectively with colleagues across departments.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 25 pounds repetitively.
- Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 100 pounds.
- Ability to stand, bend, reach, and lift for extended periods.
- Ability to safely operate powered industrial trucks.
- Ability to wear required PPE for extended periods.
