About This Role
Leading the filling, packing, and line setting operations at the company's manufacturing site is the core of this Production Manager role. This is a full-time, permanent, on-site position, working Monday to Friday, 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM. The role involves taking ownership of a busy production environment and playing a key part in delivering products that customers love.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop the Production team to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality operations
- Drive production performance against key targets, taking ownership of results and addressing performance challenges
- Plan and coordinate daily production activities, ensuring people, equipment, and resources are effectively utilized to meet production schedules
- Champion Health & Safety, GMP, and quality standards across all production activities
- Identify and implement practical improvements to minimize downtime, reduce waste, and improve production efficiency
- Partner with Planning, Engineering, and Quality to resolve production challenges, maintain quality standards, and support new product introductions
Requirements
- Experience leading production teams within an FMCG, food, cosmetics, or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, develop, and motivate teams
- Experience working within GMP or other quality-regulated manufacturing environments
- Sound understanding of production processes, machinery, and equipment, with the ability to troubleshoot day-to-day operational challenges
- A continuous improvement mindset, with experience using KPIs to monitor performance and deliver results
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and keep your team aligned
