About This Role
This Production Manager role oversees production lines to ensure an efficient and productive manufacturing process, aligning with current legislation and quality systems. The position is based in Kryoneri and involves managing resources, optimizing processes, and driving continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Ensure full compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and regulatory requirements for smooth production planning execution and achievement of targets by securing maximum capacity of machine equipment and workforce
- Oversee the plan of allocated resources to various production lines and drive the necessary changes
- Optimize production processes according to production planning execution to improve efficiency and quality
- Organize the workflow as needed to meet specifications and deadlines
- Monitor weekly and monthly reports, analyze production KPIs, and develop an action plan to ensure continuous improvement of production lines and the workforce
- Partner as required with various stakeholders including Quality Assurance, Quality Control, QP, Technical Division, Human Resources, Supply Chain & RnD
- Promote a culture of teamwork, performance improvement, and a supportive work environment, acting as an ambassador of company values
- Work closely with the team of Shift Supervisors, monitor their performance as per the KPIs defined, implement their development plans, and provide coaching and direction as needed
- Oversee health and safety precautions for the team, identify opportunities for safety improvements, and make recommendations to the H&S team
- Approve and schedule maintenance works and purchasing of equipment in collaboration with the technical team
- Address escalated issues that may arise in priority
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Pharmacy
- Min 5 years of proven work experience as Production Supervisor or Manager, preferably in the pharmaceutical sector
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Greek
- People management skills and ability to influence others in a positive way
- Self-motivation and teamwork mentality
- Demonstration of analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to manage complexity and make fast data-driven decisions
