About the role
Join a forward-thinking team as a Process Engineer, responsible for introducing and implementing equipment for new model launches in manufacturing facilities. Utilize 3D CAD software and simulation tools to identify key change points and develop detailed specifications aligning with design requirements.
Serve as a Project Leader, Person In Charge (PIC), or Subject Matter Expert to drive projects from inception through final design and assembly, focusing on characteristic improvements that support regional and business strategies.
- Develop optimal machine concepts based on engineering principles to support process changes.
- Provide technical support for equipment and processes, assisting project leadership.
- Collaborate with external suppliers and internal teams to ensure project success.
- Perform detailed process studies to evaluate machine capability and communicate issues to designers.
- Create specifications and scope documents to define change points and criteria.
- Support installation and verification activities, ensuring specifications are met.
- Maintain project schedules to meet milestones.
Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience), at least 2 years of relevant experience, proficiency with 3D CAD systems, and background in automated equipment development. Strong technical communication skills are essential. The role involves mostly office work with some manufacturing floor visits and travel as needed. Visa sponsorship is not available.
