About the Role
ELTA Systems in Be'er Sheva is looking for a Production Engineer to join the Composite Materials Department .
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and optimizing manufacturing processes, from development through production, while providing engineering solutions on the production floor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing cost and price proposals.
- Planning and specifying manufacturing equipment and production fixtures.
- Supporting the transfer of products and processes from development to production.
- Preparing work instructions and manufacturing process documentation.
- Planning and supporting manufacturing processes on the production floor and providing engineering solutions to production challenges.
- Improving and optimizing manufacturing processes.
- Preparing Statements of Work (SOWs) for equipment and tooling requirements.
- Leading internal and customer-facing Production Readiness Reviews (PRRs).
- Working closely with Manufacturing, Quality Control, Project Management, and Procurement teams.
What We're Looking For
- B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering – required.
- Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously – required.
- Familiarity with CAD software – required; experience with NX-UG is an advantage.
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings – required.
- Very good command of English – required.
- Familiarity with SAP – an advantage.
- Strong teamwork and excellent interpersonal skills.
