Job Description
Job Posting – Production Employee
What you can look forward to as a Workshop Technician
Dismantle, inspect and reassemble transmissions, axles and final drive assemblies in accordance with pre-determined work instructions and specifications.
Use inspection measuring and test equipment to determine component conformity and ensure product quality
Work on own initiative and as part of a team to solve work related technical problems
Use IT equipment to extract and record technical and logistical information including the creation of inspection reports and identification of required parts
Accountable for the correct and safe usage of tooling and equipment.
Help promote the behaviors identified within the Companies culture.
Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the operations department
To undertake any other ad hoc duties within the operations function to support the effective running of the department.
Your profile as a Workshop Technician
NVQ Level 3 in mechanical engineering
Experience of working within a mechanical engineering industry
Proven problem solver
IT literate
