About the role
CEC is seeking dependable, motivated Production Workers to join our manufacturing team. This is an entry-level opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work and are willing to learn. Previous electrical, apprenticeship, or manufacturing experience is not required—CEC will provide the necessary training.
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
- Overtime and weekend work may be required based on production needs
Job Responsibilities
- Follow basic work instructions and established production procedures
- Measure, cut, and assemble materials
- Operate basic hand tools safely and correctly
- Perform basic math and measurements
- Complete hands-on production and assembly work
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and supervisor instructions
- Wear required personal protective equipment at all times
- Assist with additional production duties as assigned
Candidate Qualifications
- Dependable, punctual, and ready to work
- Willing to learn and participate in company-provided training
- Able to remain on your feet for most of the workday
- Comfortable working in a warehouse and manufacturing environment
- Able to follow verbal and written instructions
- Basic manufacturing experience is helpful but not required
- Electrical or apprenticeship experience is not required
Training and Equipment
CEC Provides
- Required internal job training
- OSHA 10/30 training, if required
- Forklift and scissor-lift training, if required
- Basic personal protective equipment
- Company tools needed to perform the job
Employees are responsible for providing and wearing their own work boots.
