Product Owner / Associate Product Owner

About This Role

This role is for a Product Owner or Associate Product Owner, working with UK stakeholders to elicit and analyze requirements, create user stories, and ensure delivered solutions meet business needs. The position involves interpreting machine-specific specification documents and collaborating across development teams.

Responsibilities

• Elicit and analyze requirements from UK stakeholders and subject matter experts
• Understand and interpret machine-specific specification documents across different equipment types
• Create and refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog items
• Explain the business context and "why" behind requirements to development/engineering teams
• Participate in solution discussions and proactively suggest product improvements
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Engineering, UX, and QA teams throughout the development lifecycle
• Support backlog prioritization, sprint planning, and feature validation
• Ensure delivered solutions meet business needs and stakeholder expectations

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree from a reputed college, first class or better, no gaps in education, with a major in Computer Science / Information Technology
• SQL knowledge and basic understanding of coding
• Familiarity with REST APIs, system integrations, and data flows between connected systems
• Understanding of data models, reporting requirements, and analytics dashboards
• Ability to read and understand technical specifications and functional documentation
• Working knowledge of Agile tools such as Azure DevOps and JIRA
• Experience in wireframing tools such as Figma and Balsamiq

Nice to have:

• CSPO, PSPO, or equivalent Product Owner certification
• Preferred industry: Telematics/IoT/Fleet Management
