About This Role
Defining how products should work from an end-user perspective is the core responsibility of this role. The Product Owner will use their design or engineering background to research and define functional requirements, working closely with customers and development teams to solve complex technical issues.
Responsibilities
- Define how the products should work from an end-user point of view
- Use background in Design or Engineering to research and define requirements for functional aspects of the products
- Work with existing and prospective customers to understand and address their needs and productivity goals
- Work with product development teams and partners to solve complex technical issues
- Author specifications that communicate customer requirements and define the specific commands and interactions required to satisfy them
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 2-6 years of work experience as product owner, product management, or business analyst in the software product field
- Good understanding of cloud concepts
- Knowledge of software life cycle methods or experience working on an Agile/Scrum team
- Creative and analytic thinking skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, and customer relation aptitude
- Positive and energetic attitude with the ability to simultaneously work on multiple projects and to effectively communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively
- Working knowledge of the Windows operating system and Microsoft Office products
