Product Manager III, Technical

About This Role

This role involves building and expanding the worldwide Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) systems, influencing how, where, when, and what sellers ship to FBA. It is a rare opportunity to own one of Amazon's most impactful and technically sophisticated product platforms, directly influencing billions in GMS and operational efficiency. The position suits an entrepreneurial, results-oriented Sr. Product Manager - Technical who will drive product strategy and roadmap, develop internal optimization tools, and work at the frontier of marketplace design, supply chain science, and AI.

Responsibilities

• Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap by working backward from customer needs, leveraging direct customer engagement, market research, and data analysis to identify the highest-impact opportunities
• Drive cross-functional collaboration with engineering, design, science, finance, and operations teams to deliver products on time and at a high quality bar, making transparent trade-offs and aligning stakeholders along the way
• Establish success criteria, KPIs, and metrics that distinguish between output metrics such as adoption and outcome metrics such as customer satisfaction and business impact, and use data to continuously inform prioritization and roadmap decisions
• Evaluate technical proposals and participate in architecture discussions, probing scalability, performance, and trade-off implications to ensure product decisions account for long-term system health alongside near-term delivery
• Identify opportunities to integrate generative AI and emerging technologies into product development workflows, accelerating learning cycles and unlocking new forms of innovation for customers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
• Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
• Experience managing technical products or online services
• Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

Nice to have:

• Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
• Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
