Product Engineer

About This Role

Planning, testing, and qualifying Trane Commercial HVAC products, including components, systems, and subsystems, is the core purpose of this Product Engineer role within the product development team.

Responsibilities

• Participate as an active member of the product development team
• Work with design engineers to help drive projects to completion
• Assist with deviation approvals
• Work with production lines to assist with communicating design intent
• Coordinate and schedule prototype builds and evaluation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• 3-5 years of engineering or product design experience (preferred)

Nice to have:

• Experience with solid modeling design package (such as CREO)
• Problem assessment, analysis, and problem-solving skills
• Results-oriented individual with emphasis on achieving overall team performance
• Good verbal and written communication skills
