Product Director, Agentic - Executive Director

About This Role

This executive-level role involves leading innovation in agentic commerce and payments within JPMorgan Payments CDAO. The Product Director will be responsible for developing products and features that enhance customer experience, challenging traditional approaches, and fostering a culture of continuous innovation within cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan and own the development of agentic commerce products that facilitate safe, secure, quick, and cost-effective money movement for consumers, merchants, and their agents
• Develop build-partner-buy strategies to ensure optimal end-to-end solutions for clients
• Oversee the product roadmap, vision, development, execution, risk management, and business growth targets for agentic commerce and payment products
• Lead the entire product life cycle through planning, execution, and future development by continuously adapting, developing new products and methodologies, managing risks, and achieving business targets like cost, features, reusability, and reliability to support growth
• Partner with engineering, risk, compliance, and other teams to create buy-in and launch enterprise-ready solutions
• Build, coach, and mentor the product team on best practices including AI-forward working, prototyping, and analytic strategies
• Own product performance and be accountable for investing in enhancements to achieve business objectives
• Monitor market trends, conduct competitive analysis, and identify opportunities for product differentiation

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management
• Experience in building and leading a team of product managers
• Strong background in payments and commerce
• Extensive knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics
• Proven ability to influence the adoption of key product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
• Experience driving change within organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functions

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with agentic commerce or agent-to-agent protocols
• Deep knowledge of the payment and commerce needs of middle market and enterprise clients
• Experience with both B2B and B2C products
• Knowledge of the systems and steps involved in creating, executing, and fulfilling an ecommerce order
• Exposure to international markets from a payments standpoint
• Track record of building, evaluating, and using agents for personal or professional use
