About This Role
Product Designers at Radix join a fast-growing team focused on rethinking data platforms with AI at the core. Working closely with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional partners, designers take ideas from initial sketches to shipped products, owning the design for key areas of the Radix platform. This role is for a designer who can simplify complex market data, financial models, and high-stakes decisions, making them feel intuitive, fast, and trustworthy, while also defining how AI integrates into the user interface.
Responsibilities
- Turn complex, data-heavy problems into experiences that feel intuitive, clear, and fast
- Design AI-native workflows, such as conversational interfaces, intelligent recommendations, and automated insights, that earn user trust through transparency, control, and thoughtful handling of uncertainty
- Take strategic ownership of core product areas and guide work from exploration through delivery in close partnership with Product and Engineering
- Use AI tools in your own craft to explore faster, prototype sooner, and raise the quality bar without sacrificing rigor
- Validate concepts through usability testing, product analytics, and rapid experimentation, and tie design decisions to measurable impact
- Evolve the Radix design system so it stays consistent, scalable, and ready for new patterns, including AI-driven ones
- Influence across the company by aligning stakeholders, communicating design rationale, and raising the bar for design excellence
- Mentor junior and mid-level designers and help shape the practices and culture of Radix design as we scale
Requirements
- 5+ years designing digital products in B2B or SaaS environments, with a strong record of owning design for complex applications such as dashboards, analytics, and data tools
- A portfolio that shows systems thinking, strong visual craft, and true end-to-end product design, from problem framing to shipped result
- Advanced Figma skills, including prototyping, components, variables, tokens, and variants, and comfort working in code-adjacent tools to prototype and collaborate with engineers
- A solid command of UX principles, interaction design, and information architecture, with a point of view on designing for data density and decision making
- Curiosity and hands-on experience with AI, whether designing AI-powered features or using AI tools in your own workflow
- Clear communication with technical and non-technical partners, and the judgment to balance speed and craft in a fast-paced, iterative environment
- Comfort with ambiguity and ownership. You thrive in a startup where priorities evolve, scope is broad, and you can see the impact of your work quickly
Benefits
- Medical, dental and vision coverage designed to support your wellbeing
