About This Role
This job position is for a Product Designer with at least 5 years of experience, who will own the design process end-to-end, from discovery and user research through interaction design, prototyping, high-fidelity UI, and handoff to engineering. The role suits a goal-oriented and analytical individual who understands user needs, business requirements, and technical/regulatory constraints, especially in mobility, banking, and public administration projects. As a senior team member, you will also mentor other designers and help evolve the company's design practice.
Responsibilities
- Plan and run discovery activities proportionate to each project, including stakeholder interviews, user interviews, usability tests, and analysis of existing data and benchmarks
- Turn findings into clear artifacts for team decision-making
- Design user flows, information architecture, wireframes, and interactive prototypes
- Create polished, high-fidelity UI for both web and mobile, thinking in states, edge cases, and empty/error states
- Build, maintain, or adopt design systems
- Work closely with frontend engineers during implementation, reviewing builds to ensure the final product matches the intended experience
- Use AI tools to speed up workflow (research synthesis, rapid prototyping, exploration of alternatives, UI design, building and maintaining design systems)
- Design AI-powered products for clients and the Innovation business unit, considering challenges like uncertain outputs, trust, transparency, and graceful failure states
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a Product Designer, UX/UI Designer, or similar role on digital products
- A portfolio showing at least 3 end-to-end case studies, from problem definition to shipped solution
- Solid experience in discovery activities, such as user research and usability testing
- Strong interaction design and visual design skills, for both web and mobile
- Experience in building or maintaining design systems
- Good knowledge of accessibility guidelines (WCAG 2.1/2.2)
- Experience working closely with developers in agile teams
- Ability to mentor other designers and present design decisions to clients and stakeholders
- Fluent Italian and good English (written and spoken)

- Ability to prototype with AI prototyping tools
