About This Role
Designing complex software products from concept to launch is the core of this role, covering user experience, interaction, and visual design. The Product Designer uses research, data, and business requirements to refine proposals and deliver them with product and engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, user researchers, and data teams throughout the design process, from concept exploration to launch, to define problems, goals, and design scope
- Rapidly develop concept prototypes, design user flows informed by research and data, gather stakeholder feedback, and continuously iterate
- Design interfaces, graphics, and layouts for web products; maintain and improve the visual design system; and incorporate user feedback and business requirements into product design
- Establish design direction amid ambiguity, evaluate relevant factors, conduct reviews with fellow designers, and coordinate design work across related projects
- Oversee design implementation and launch quality, participate in technical discussions with teams, and help translate and verify technical documentation to ensure shared understanding
Requirements
- At least 2 years of end-to-end design experience with complex software products, with the ability to align UX, interaction, and visual design with business goals, supported by strong aesthetic sensibility and visual judgment
- Hands-on experience with controlled testing and data-driven design, using research and data to inform product strategy and design decisions
- Proficiency with prototyping tools and strong product thinking
- Clear verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to listen effectively, explain design rationale, and collaborate across teams
Nice to have:
- Experience building and maintaining design systems, launching products across teams, or designing conversational AI or chatbots—or skills in motion design
- Hands-on experience using AI tools to improve workflows and measure their impact, an understanding of AI risks, bias, and quality review, and a commitment to continued learning in prompt engineering, context engineering, or agent orchestration
