About This Role
Product Designers play a critical role in translating the company's vision into reality, creating amazing and delightful experiences for users. This role involves shaping the product vision of empowering local small and medium-sized businesses. It suits a designer who is passionate about design, user-obsessed, and has a knack for building intuitive mobile and desktop user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to design intuitive, user-friendly interfaces that simplify complex marketing concepts for non-tech-savvy users
- Conduct extensive user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability tests, to deeply understand the needs, preferences, and pain points of the target audience
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that effectively communicate design concepts and facilitate seamless handoff to development
- Take ownership of the entire design process, from ideation to implementation, continually iterating and refining based on user feedback and data-driven insights
- Contribute to product strategy and roadmap discussions, advocating for user needs and ensuring that design remains a key consideration in all product decisions
- Establish and maintain design standards, style guides, and best practices that ensure consistency and quality across all aspects of the user experience
Requirements
- 4-6 years of experience designing digital products, with a strong portfolio showcasing your UI/UX design skills and impact
- Proven ability to design for non-tech-savvy users, simplifying complex concepts and workflows into intuitive, easy-to-use interfaces
- Extensive experience conducting user research, synthesizing insights, and translating findings into actionable design recommendations
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions and build consensus across teams
