Product Designer

About This Role

Product Designers at LangChain help shape the experience for developers and teams building on the platform. This role involves working across core product surfaces, potentially focusing on onboarding developers to production usage or deeper platform workflows like debugging, evaluation, and observability. The ideal candidate will partner with engineering, product, and other designers to identify and resolve friction points in the user experience.

Responsibilities

• Build a deep understanding of how developers actually use LangChain's products through interviews and feedback sessions so design decisions are grounded in real behavior and address user needs
• Own the full design arc on your features, from early concepts to polished, shipped work
• Work across a range of product areas and design initiatives as priorities shift
• Collaborate closely with product, engineering and other key stakeholders to ship new features quickly

Requirements

• 3+ years of fullstack product design experience ideally working on developer tools, AI, or complex SaaS products
• Sharp eye for detail, with a strong foundation across user-centered design, interaction design, and visual craft
• A track record of solving hard interaction design problems, particularly around dense technical data
• Data-driven decision making; you are comfortable driving user research, both with internal stakeholders and external customers, and using what you learn to inform your designs
• You take initiative and ownership of tasks end-to-end
• Strong technical acumen; you collaborate effectively with engineers to design things that are both well-crafted and feasible
